Cons:

- Not very accessible by public transport

You will need to drive to get there..

- Lots of mosquitos at night but the bosses will try and smog the area

Driving along Lim Chu Kang Lane 6F, turn right at this junction..

After entering the gates, keep right and you will see the proper and cleaner toilets on this building on the right.. there is one cubicle for ladies and one for gents..

Head on forward and you will reach this junction..

turn left to enter Ah Lim Fishing Pond..

The right side is where you exit the fishing pond by driving around it..

Go on ahead and you will reach Ah Lim Fishing Pond's gate..

You will see their very nice signboard on the right side at the top of the gate..

Duration: 3 hours
Damages: $55/3hrs per rod (3 rods), $10 live prawns
Anglers: 明哥，新仔，阿辉, 新仔's OC
Fishes caught: GT, Ang Cho Kee, Taiwan Ngor, Ang Kuey

Saturday afternoon, around 12 noon, 阿辉 still rolling on the bed using ipad..

新仔 shouts: "阿辉, want to go fishing?"

阿辉 bursts out of the room with gleaming eyes

阿辉: "Kor, you mentioned fishing?"
新仔: "Yup! Want to go?"
阿辉: "OF COURSE!! 明哥 joining as well?"
新仔: "Yes, go pay pond to fish, later then decide which one to go to.."

So we quickly showered and prepared.. off we go to pick 明哥 up! We later decided to head over to Ah Lim Fishing Pond to try our luck again after a defeat the previous time.. Had a quick lunch before driving down to Lim Chu Kang.

This is where you turn into when you're along LCK Lane 6F:

After driving through the gate, keep right and you'll notice these two cleaner toilets with basin and clean water tap on the right that makes this place a wonderful place if considering bringing your OCs (wives) along.. It is about 2-3minutes walk from Ah Lim's Pond, there are some big sized dogs around so please do not let small children wander around..

Entrance - see that left road, please turn towards that direction and continue driving a few meters you will reach Ah Lim Fishing Pond's main entrance..
Exit - see the tyre markings coming out and turning towards us from the right? That is where you drive your car out of Ah Lim Fishing Pond by driving one round around the pond.

This is at the main entrance of the fishing pond, you will be greeted by a cute signboard on the right..

After parking our car by the side, here are some pictures taken around the pond..

Almost 1/3 of the area is functioning as a filtration unit..

They do sell Live baits - Milk Fishes and Prawns

A picture of the cute small groupers in another pond.. I think it is a sure catch pond??

Look for this storefront, you will make payment here before you start fishing.. They sell some fishing gears, drinks and hot food such as french fries as well..

CnR Rules for Sea Bass (Kim Bak Lor) and G.T.

When you hook up a G.T. please do not bring the fish out of the water by yourself.. the bosses are friendly and will help you handle the fish with a lip grip and let you take a photo if you wish to..
阿辉 was lucky to hook up a G.T. (the very first one he ever caught), had 11 minutes of fun with the fish and the boss was very kind to teach 阿辉 how to hold the fish to prevent getting injured by the fish's sharp tail for photo taking..

If your line gets stucked on the net, please avoid pulling and breaking the line.. ask the boss for help and they are very friendly to help you remove the hook from the net.. Please do not abuse their kindness to get a good casting "spot" near the keep nets..
